The benefits of Pilates Reformer
Pilates Reformer is a smart and precise method that gently sculpts the body. Thanks to the resistance of the springs and the support of the machine, each movement is fluid, controlled, and impact-free. It strengthens deep muscles, refines the silhouette, and lengthens the body’s lines without ever rushing it. Ideal for relieving tension and preventing pain, particularly in the back, the Reformer respects natural posture and improves alignment. It’s a practice that’s as beneficial for beginners as it is for athletes, combining tone, mobility, and lasting well-being.
The Course of a Session
Each Reformer Pilates class at Cloud Pilates follows a carefully designed progression to maximize your results.
The session begins with a Pilates centering and breathing exercise to best prepare you for the rest of the workout.
You’ll then perform a warm-up based primarily on footwork movements, as well as specific movements based on the focus of the session.
The main part will allow you to work your entire body through a series of specific Pilates movements guided by our expert instructors.

Our Marrakech Pilates studio stands out for the excellence of its equipment. Our V2 Max Reformers from the prestigious Merrithew brand represent the very best in the world of Pilates.

a question ?
A Pilates Reformer is a piece of strength training equipment that allows you to perform highly targeted Pilates exercises. Reformers are extremely beneficial for Pilates practice because they allow you to simultaneously focus on muscle strengthening, spinal alignment, and improved flexibility.
Despite first impressions, the Pilates Reformer is not a medieval torture device. It consists of three main parts: the foot bar, a gear system, and springs. Each of these parts can be adjusted to increase or decrease resistance, for a completely personalized workout.
There are many different types of reformers—some made of metal and others of wood—but they all offer the same basic functions and benefits.
Pilates Reformer workouts are suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. This is one of the reasons why the Reformer is so widely used in Pilates studios and at home.
Most workouts involve aligning the body in a specific position, using the headrest and foot bar, and performing a series of sets. For beginners, it’s always best to follow Reformer workouts with the help of a teacher or to participate in our classes.
Using the reformer has countless benefits, but here are a few:
· Helps relieve back pain
· Improves posture
· Encourages more graceful movements
· Develops muscular endurance
· Improves breathing
· Provides an excellent fat-burning exercise
· Strengthens core muscles
· Improves overall flexibility
Yes! The Reformer is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. In fact, it’s regularly used in a variety of settings outside of Pilates studios, including rehabilitation centers, schools, gyms, and hospitals. It’s also frequently used in rehabilitation for athletes, people recovering from head injuries, and for treating neuromuscular disorders in children and adults.
